About the association
Liloba na Nzambe means “Word of God” in Lingala. The church community was founded in January 1995 (as reported); in Belgium it has been registered since 15 February 2006 as an international non-profit association (AISBL, no. 0879.376.759) based in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Brussels.
In Kinshasa, the church is known for its large annual Holy Communion (Sainte Cène) services at the Stade des Martyrs, with attendance reported by organisers at more than 100,000 for the 2024 edition.
Its founder and spiritual leader is Prophète Dominique Mpolo Khonde, born in 1956 in Mbata Luango, Kongo-Central province, DRC.
Peace mission
The DRC continues to suffer violence against children, women and girls, and faith communities, as documented by the United Nations. Drawing attention to that suffering and working toward it ending is one of the reasons behind the church’s peace effort — work that is ongoing.
Faith
Worship, prayer and pastoral care rooted in the Word of God, in Kinshasa and beyond.
Peace & humanitarian
Raising attention to violence in the DRC and calling for reconciliation — a mission described by the Prophet as humanitarian, not political.
Diaspora care
Encouraging and connecting Congolese and African diaspora communities in Europe and around the world.
Education
The Université Liloba na Nzambe in Matadi is an accredited private university; 40 graduates received degrees in August 2026.
